La rupture différée en mécanique des roches
Delayed failure in rock mechanics

Différents cas réels de ruptures différées sont présentés et commentés ainsi que la méthode de mesure en laboratoire de la résistance à long terme d’échantillons de roches. Dans la pratique des massifs rocheux, il peut y avoir rupture à long terme simple, mais aussi vieillissement des matériaux, évolution des sollicitations, ou relaxation et fatigue, ce qui rend la prévision particulièrement difficile.
Abstract
Different case histories of rock masses delayed failures are presented and commented. Laboratory long term strength measurement of rock samples is presented. For rock masses simple delayed failures can occur but it is possible to have weathering, solicitation evolution, or relaxation and fatigue, so that precasting is specialy difficult.
