Résumé

Le patrimoine des tunnels ferroviaires est important et ancien. La variété des contextes géographiques et géologiques doit être soulignée, mais aussi l’homogénéité des structures et des matériaux utilisés.

Le vieillissement des ouvrages trouve son origine dans l’évolution des terrains encaissants et des ouvrages eux-mêmes : structures et matériaux, l’eau jouant un rôle important. Ces ouvrages anciens font l’objet d’une identification détaillée basée sur des données d’archives avec relevés d’avaries.

Une surveillance systématique donne lieu à des diagnostics et conduit à des investigations spécifiques : auscultations de divers types. Des opérations de maintenant préventive ou corrective sont programmées, respectueuses des contraintes d’exploitation.

Abstract

Patrimony of railway tunnels is important and old. Diversity of geographical and geological contexts are to be pointed out, and also heterogeneity of the used materials and structures. Growing old of tunnels is linked to evolution of surrounding ground and also to tunnels themselves: materials and structures. Water has a very important role.

These old tunnels are dealt with a detailed identification based on archives data, with damage’s statement.

A systematic monitoring is based on diagnostics and leads to specific investigation: diverse types of auscultation. Preventive or corrective maintenance interventions are precast, adapted to operation conditions.
