Correlations between reconstructions derived from tree-rings (Saint-Guillaume (a) and Valdrôme (b)) and rainfall computed over 1 to 36 consecutive 10-day periods extending from 1st–10th October (n−1) to 21st–30th September (n). For the Saint-Guillaume site, the dendrogeomorphic reconstitution is reliable since 1989 (CIP>0.5). For the Valdrôme site, the forest stand is more homogeneous (in terms of age and species), allowing a reliable reconstitution to be obtained since 1959.
